关于加强实验室干燥类设备安全管理的提醒

各学院（单位）：

近日，学校某实验室的冷干机在昼夜不间断运行时，由于零部件老化导致真空泵产生较大烟雾，触发烟感。为保障我校实验室安全、有序运行，防范实验室安全事故，现针对实验室干燥类设备的安全管理提醒如下：

1、真空干燥箱、鼓风干燥箱、冷干机等干燥类设备应有专人负责，对设备进行日常检查，及时发现设备故障及隐患。

2、干燥类设备附近应张贴安全操作规程，实验人员严格按照操作规程进行操作。

3、定期对干燥类设备进行维护保养。质保期内的设备，请厂家按要求进行定期维护保养，并做好记录；超出质保期的，委托专业公司进行维保。

4、干燥类设备不超期服役。

5、昼夜工作的干燥类设备，建议安装监控设备，同时在实验室门口悬挂过夜信息牌，实验室留灯。

各学院（单位）应以此事件为鉴，加强对实验室干燥类设备的安全使用和日常管理，谨防安全事故的发生！

Safety Management Reminders for Laboratory Drying Equipment

All Schools (Units)：

Recently, the smoke detector was triggered by fume from the vacuum pump of one freeze-dryer in a laboratory of our school due to component ageing. The equipment has been running for around 30 hours when this event happened.

To ensure the safe operation of our laboratory, here are some safety management reminders for the drying equipment:

- Designated person should be appointed for the drying equipment like ovens, freeze- dryers, etc. Conduct daily inspections of equipment to detect equipment failures and potential safety hazards timely.

- SOP should be available for drying machine, and operators should follow the SOP strictly.

- The drying equipment within the warranty period shall be regularly maintained by the manufacturer as required and keep a record as well, invite professional third party to maintain it if the warranty period is out of date.

- The drying equipment should not be under extended service.

- Overnight signboard must be hung at the door of the laboratory if there are drying equipment need to be running around the clock.

All schools (units) should take this event as a lesson and strengthen safety management for the drying equipment to prevent incident.
