据气象预报，今年第13号台风“白海豚”（强台风级）可能于8月9日至10日在浙江苍南到象山一带沿海登陆。预计8-12日我市有较明显风雨过程，局部大到暴雨。请各实验室密切关注天气变化，做好以下实验室安全防范工作：

一、加强实验室危险化学品和实验废弃物管理，确保遇水易燃易爆的化学试剂、实验废弃物等防水防潮放置。

二、加强仪器设备安全使用管理。及时断开不使用设备的电源开关。不断电的设备，确保电源接地良好，电源插座或接线板离地放置。定期检查设备应急备用电源，保障极端天气导致停电时能正常供电。

三、开展重点区域自查，仔细检查实验室门窗、低洼地带，以及地下空间、室外悬挂设施、外置设备配件等，及时修补破损、清理窗边物品、加固悬挂物件，严防大风高空坠物、雨水倒灌。

四、台风期间，原则上暂停一切室外实验。室内实验必须严格落实安全风险评估、教师在岗指导和现场监护制度，实验过程严格遵守操作规程，实验结束及时关闭水、电、气源和门窗。实验室一旦发现漏水，应立刻断电，再进行后续处理，谨防触电。

According to the weather forecast, Typhoon DOLPHIN（Severe Typhoon intensity), the 13th typhoon of the year, is likely to make landfall along the coast from Cangnan to Xiangshan in Zhejiang Province from August 9 to 10. Our city is expected to experience significant wind and rain from August 8 to 12, with heavy rain in some areas. The Office of Laboratories and Research Equipment provides the following safety reminders:

I. Strengthen the management of hazardous chemicals and laboratory waste. Ensure that chemicals that are flammable or explosive upon contact with water, as well as experimental waste, are properly stored in elevated, waterproof and moisture-proof locations.

II. Enhance the safe use and management of instruments and equipment. Promptly disconnect the power supply of unused equipment. For equipment that must remain powered, ensure that the power supplies are properly grounded and that power outlets or power strips are placed above floor level. Regularly check emergency backup power supplies for equipment to ensure the backup systems can function properly.

III. Conduct self-inspections of key areas. Carefully inspect laboratory doors and windows, low-lying areas, underground spaces, outdoor suspended facilities, and external equipment accessories. Promptly repair any damages found, remove items near windows, and secure suspended objects to strictly prevent falling objects from heights and rainwater backflow during strong winds.

IV. During the typhoon period, in principle, all outdoor experiments should be suspended. Indoor experiments must strictly implement the protocols of safety risk assessment, on-site instructor supervision, and real-time monitoring. Experimental procedures must be strictly followed. Upon completion of experiments, promptly turn off water, electricity, gas sources, and close doors and windows. If water leakage is detected in the laboratory, immediately cut off the power supply before taking any further action, and take care to avoid electric shock.
