各位学院（单位）、实验室：

根据上级部门相关通知要求和学校工作安排，为消除实验室不间断电源（UPS）安全隐患，保障实验室设备使用安全，实验室与科研设施部将于近期开展实验室不间断电源专项安全检查及常规保养，现将有关事项通知如下：

一、检查安排

1. 实验室自查：2025年8月20日前

各学院（单位）组织本单位的实验室检查摸排UPS底数和基本情况，并将《UPS安全管理台账》（附件1）汇总后，于2025年8月20日前发送至实验室与科研设施部邮箱（share@westlake.edu.cn）。

2. 学校检查：2025年8月20日至8月31日

学校邀请第三方公司开展UPS专项安全检查及常规保养。

3. 实验室整改：2025年9月20日前

实验室维修或更换有隐患的UPS，并将整改完的资料上传至实验室综合管理系统（https://lab.westlake.edu.cn/）。学校逐一复核整改情况直至闭环。

二、其他

1. 各学院（单位）要高度重视UPS专项安全检查及常规保养工作，认真组织本单位的自查，加强协调和配合学校检查，切实做到人员落实、任务落实、责任落实，确保安全检查全覆盖，隐患整改全闭环。

2. 各学院（单位）要将UPS安全管理纳入每月的学院（单位）检查工作中，并动态更新《UPS安全管理台账》，督促实验室做好UPS的定期维保和日常自查工作。

Dear Schools (Units) and Laboratories,

To eliminate the potential safety hazards of the uninterruptible power supply (UPS), Office of Laboratories and Research Equipment will conduct a special safety inspection and maintenance regarding to UPS. The relevant matters are as follows:

I Inspection Schedule

1. Laboratory      Self-Inspection: By August 20, 2025

Each school (unit) is required to organize self-inspections of its laboratories to identify and document the quantity and condition of UPS units. Please complete the UPS Safety Management Ledger (see Attachment 1) and submit it to the Office of Laboratories and Research Equipment via email at share@westlake.edu.cn no later than August 20, 2025.

2. University Inspection: August 20-31, 2025

The University will organize a special safety inspection of UPS units.

3. Laboratory Rectification: By September 20, 2025

Laboratories shall repair or replace any UPS units identified with safety hazards, and upload the corresponding rectification documents to the Laboratory Integrated Management System(https://lab.westlake.edu.cn/) by the deadline. The University will review each case until it is fully closed.

II Additional Requirements

1. Each school (unit) should attach great importance to the UPS safety inspection, effectively organize internal self-inspections, and actively cooperate with the University’s centralized inspection. Responsibilities, personnel, and tasks must be clearly defined and assigned to ensure full inspection coverage and closed-loop rectification of all identified hazards.

2. Schools (units) shall incorporate UPS safety      management into their monthly inspection routines, continuously update the      UPS Safety Management Ledger, and supervise laboratories in      performing regular maintenance and routine self-checks of UPS units.
