各学院（单位）、实验室：

夏季高温，各类电器与线路负载加大，不间断电源（UPS）极易引起火灾等安全事故。为消除隐患，确保设备使用安全，实验室与科研设施部将于近期开展UPS专项安全检查，现将有关事项通知如下：

一、检查安排

1. 实验室自查：2023年8月11日至8月18日

各学院（单位）组织本单位的实验室检查摸排UPS底数和基本情况，并将《UPS安全管理台账》（附件1）于2023年8月21日前发送至实验室与科研设施部邮箱（share@westlake.edu.cn）。

2. 学校检查：2023年8月22日至8月28日

学校组织开展UPS专项安全检查。

3. 实验室整改：2023年9月10日前

实验室自行维修或更换有隐患的UPS，并将整改完的资料上传至实验室综合管理系统（https://lab.westlake.edu.cn/）。学校逐一复核整改情况直至闭环。

二、其他

    1. 各学院（单位）要高度重视UPS专项安全检查工作，认真组织本单位的自查，加强协调和配合学校检查，切实做到人员落实、任务落实、责任落实，确保安全检查全覆盖，隐患整改全闭环。

   2. 各学院（单位）要将UPS安全管理纳入每月的学院（单位）检查工作中，并动态更新《UPS安全管理台账》，督促实验室做好UPS的定期维保和日常自查工作。

All Schools (Units) & Labs:

With the high temperature in summer, various electrical devices and circuit loads increased, and the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is also easy to cause fires.

To eliminate the potential safety hazards, Office of Laboratories and Research Equipment will conduct a special safety inspection regarding to UPS in August. The relevant matters are as follows:

School self-inspection

Time: August 11~August 18, 2023

Schools (Units) shall organize laboratories to inspect and learn the basic situation of UPS, and please send the attachment UPS Safety Management Account to share@westlake.edu.cn by August 21.

Schools (Units) should make sure to check the UPS safety situation when conduct the monthly safety inspection and update the UPS Safety Management Account timely.

University inspection

Time: August 22~August 28, 2023

University will  conduct a special safety inspection regarding to UPS.

Laboratories correction

Time: by September 10, 2023

Laboratories should take corrective actions regarding to the UPS with potential hazards and upload the corrections to https://lab.westlake.edu.cn/. University will check the related findings and make sure they are closed.
