冬季来临，各类电器与线路负载加大，UPS电源极易引起火灾等安全事故。为消除隐患，确保设备使用安全，现将有关事项通知如下：

一、督促各实验室加强对UPS电源的管理，对UPS电源的部位、数量、使用年限和安全状况进行摸排。

二、加强对UPS电源的维护保养，特别对已经使用超过一年的UPS，请联系厂家进行一次专业的除尘、检测等安全维保服务。对过期、漏液和废弃的电池请联系厂家进行更换和处理。

三、如发现实验室内UPS电源起火，请正确使用灭火器如干粉灭火器、二氧化碳灭火器对其进行灭火，严禁用水进行灭火。

As winter approaches, various electrical devices loads increased, and UPS is easy to cause fires. In order to eliminate the potential safety hazards, please make sure to :

- Let all labs to reinforce the safety management of UPS, and find out the location, quantity, service life and safety status of all UPS.

- Strengthen the maintenance of UPS, especially for those have been used for more than one year, please contact the manufacturer for a professional safety maintenance service such as dust removal and testing. For expired, leaking or discarded ones, please contact the manufacturer for replacement and disposal.

- If there is a fire on the UPS, please use suitable fire extinguishing equipment like dry powder fire extinguisher or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher, and watering is strictly prohibited.
